United youngster Corry Evans has gone on loan to Carlisle joining up with Ollie Norwood and James Chester on a one month emergency loan.

Evans has been on the brink of making his first team debut despite having been fully capped by Northern Ireland 7 times and is highly thought of at Old Trafford.

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott said of the youngster’

“He comes here ready to play and he is the kind of player who keeps us moving in the right direction. He has proven quality and he has already told us how much he is looking forward to being involved. We think this is a good signing at a time when we needed to add to the squad in what is a key area.”

Abbott hopes that Corry will be registered in time for the game against Charlton this weekend.
