(Picture) So what does loyalty mean now?

Today wasn’t the first time I have seen Javier Hernandez kiss the badge. In all honesty I haven’t thought anything of it, he hasn’t been at the club long enough for me to take it seriously even though he has spoken of his love for former players and how he was a United fan growing up.

This week we got a sharp reminder of how rare loyalty is in the modern game. We had also seen Wayne Rooney kiss the badge and declare he wanted to be at the club for the rest of his life thus his statement on Wednesday came as quite a shock, Rooney will have to do a lot to rebuild the relationship he had with the fans but at the same time Hernandez is doing his best to assume a similar position to the one Wayne once occupied.

so hopefully he we don’t find ourselves in a similar position with the ‘little pea’.
