Even though the game ended a draw there were a few of our players put in decent shifts so unlike Saturday the man of the match isn’t so clearcut.

Who do you think was our stand out player in tonight’s game at Eastlands?

Gotta agree with Vidic. He allowed absolutely nothing in the box, I’m so glad we didn’t lose him last summer.

Berba did quite good and really kept control of the ball quite well. Inspite of the fact that all of our players were solid, I feel we should’ve started Chicharito at the expense of a midfielder. It would’ve given Berba an outlet and his pace would’ve unsettled City. It looked like a rush hour traffic jam in central midfield and if we wanted 3 points we should’ve opted for another strategy. Tonight was the first time it occured to me how much we miss Valencia.

Overall, City showed their inferiority complex by playing “not to lose” in spite of being at home. It’s too bad we didn’t score as the last 30 minutes clearly showed which team has the confidence and mentality to win. Mancini could barely hide his elation of not loosing which speaks volumes for where their team is truly at. At least Hughes backed up his words and actually tried to encourage his team to win a game.
