Wigan, for me, didn’t offer much and as we were largely untroubled beyond some early efforts but really at 11 vs 9 we should have done more. At 2-0 we spurned a number of chances which would have come in handy as we look to overturn Chelsea’s goal difference advantage. Slightly worrying that we aren’t converting dominance into goals but as the gears are turning and players are getting back to fitness, I expect this to be a non factor.
Wasn’t the greatest performance but nonetheless a 2-0 win capitalising on rival’s mistakes is pleasing so with that being said, who was your man of the match?
