Amos was shite, Anderson looked good though.

Any forthcoming player ratings? Anderson as MOTM for me, and Park played very well too. In many ways Berbatov played very well, but his misses knock his performance value down.
It would’ve been interesting seeing Chicharito tonight. There was so much open space and I believe he would’ve done a lot with it given his pace.
Amos was shakey at times, but he can boot it down the field with a bit of accuracy.

Ando was superb! He would have been my MOTM last night, goal or not. Anderson looks like being the latest player whose United career is really clicking into action, a list that seems to be growing on a weekly basis!

A quick word on Berbatov. A couple of missed opportunities, needless offsides and occasional poor control would have seen him sulking and moping around the field and gesticulating to the officials a year ago. Not a bit of it last night! He kept his performance positive for the whole 90 minutes and thus he was a threat for the whole 90 minutes. Great to see!

A few rough edges with Amos, Smalling and Fabio but that is to be expected. It’s far better to blood-in youngsters with the rest of the team (not mentioning the C-word) playing so well.

Fingers crossed for Inter in the next round. Another opportunity to rub Rafa’s nose into the dirt!
