United can go 5 points clear tonight with a victory at Bloomfield Road.
With Chelsea ‘back in the title race’ after hammering Bolton last night we can knock them back out with a victory over Ian Holloway’s Blackpool.
The seasiders have been the story of the season having been promoted and trying their best to prove they deserve to be here. They are currently going through somewhat of a rough patch but add to that we haven’t been the best travellers this season and it looks like this game will be one to watch.
As expected Rafael returns and importantly Rio Ferdinand has failed to get over the groin problem that saw him miss Saturday’s game against Blackburn so Chris Smalling again deputises.
Starting XI: VDS; Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Scholes, Gibson, Fletcher; Nani Rooney Berbatov
Subs: Lindegaard, Owen, Anderson, Giggs, Hernandez, Fabio, Evans
good team,,,an attacking line-up that make lot of sense bearing in mind blackpools attacking style. 3 – 1 my prediction….what do you think???
Blackpool have scored and conceded in every games this season, our away form is worrying so I’ll go a bit closer and say 2-1 or a 1-0 win for us
Initially, I was a bit shocked to see Gibson in Anderson’s place, but he played reasonably well last week and if he can’t get a chance against the likes of Blackpool, then when will he ever get a chance? Probably a wise move by Fergie. I guess 3-0.
Anderson is not dropped, he is just given some time on bench and giving chances to others in a less important match. he will be back for the big one’s as he probably is our best central players alongside giggs at the minute. i think blackpool will score as they’ve done all season. GOOD LUCK

how about love Qater, hate glazers? 😀
My thoughts are with Rafael. It’s always uneasy seeing an injury like that, no matter who you support.
Excellent fight back from the lads though. Blackpool have caused enough upsets this year without us being another notch on their bedpost. Fine result.
And as for Charlie Adam. I can see why people are raving about him. His range of passes are almost in Edwin van der Sar’s league.
