Having been recalled from his spell at Cardiff, Danny Drinkwater may again go on loan this season with Watford looking the likely location.
This will be Drinkwater’s third spell away from the club having also joined Huddersfield last season who he helped reach the playoffs in his 37 appearances for them.
Drinkwater made just 12 appearances for Cardiff before being recalled. He got off to a good start but an ankle injury hampered his progress and he returned to United for treatment.
