TEAM ANNOUNCED vs Southampton: Lindegaard makes debut, Owen starts

As expected there are wholesale changes for United’s team that takes on Southampton.

Anders Lindegaard makes his first team debut whilst Owen is given a chance to display his talents up top alongside Javier Hernandez. Scholes continues in the midfield whilst there is also a place for Anderson in the middle of the park.

Jonny Evans continues his stead steps back into form starting in the middle of the defence with Chris Smalling.

Sir Alex is taking no risks though with Giggs, Rooney and Berbatov on hand if things get desperate.
