Manchester United’s reserves took another step to the title with a resounding 4-1 thumping of Chelsea.
Ollie Norwood again shone getting a number of assists as United ran riot at Moss Lane with Josh King grabbing a brace in the first half whilst Obertan and Bebe added their names to the scoresheet in the second period.
Chelsea had a goal disallowed and also saw their fitness coach come on fbut were well beaten on the night where their only goal came when Nkumu headed home a freekick in the first half.
United need just one more point from their remaining two fixtures to secure the group A title.

Thought yet again Bebe was a let down.
But Obertan was looking good, as was Josh King, Oliver Norwood and Joe Dudgeon.
My man of the match was, by a country mile, Josh King.
He was played out of position, allowing Obertan and Bebe to rotate as strikers while King got stuck in at left wing, and still grabbed a brace.
In other news good to see the so called “bad boy” Ravel Morrison and, who I believed to be, Paul Pogba turn up and sit in the stands with the fans, which I thought showed that despite not being involved in the match showed commitment and team spirit.
Norwood for me looked like the best..Pinging passes like scholesy, he had a hand in all four goals..Good to see him doing well..
Norwood has really started to impress in the last couple of games with his range of passing, still not sure if he has enough for a long term future here though. Saying that I would much rather see him given a chance then buying someone like Charlie Adam.
Josh King for me is more talented then both Welbeck and Macheda although some may disagree with me on that? I just feel he has more to his game and looks the better prospect out of the three. I hope he gets a chance in the first team soon and plays on the pre season tour in the summer.
Not an outlandish call at all, would like to see how he adapts to the PL though before making a real call on it.
