United look to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat against Man City in the FA Cup with victory over Newcastle at St James Park.

Victory tonight would take United closer to the title but it won’t be easy as Newcastle will put up a fight and United will have to show that Saturday’s defeat hasn’t aversely affected us.

Sir Alex has made changes to Saturday’s team with the first notably exclusion being Paul Scholes who misses out following his red card. That leaves a space for Anderson to step in and he is joined by Wayne Rooney who returns having served his 2 game ban following swearing on camera at Upton Park. The striker will be rearing to contribute to United’s title push with goals against a side who he seems to love scoring against.

There is also a return for Ryan Giggs who missed Saturday’s game.

Starting XI: Van Der Sar; O’Shea, Vidic, Smalling, Evra; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs; Rooney, Hernandez

Subs: Kuszczak, Owen, Park, Fabio, J. Evans, Valencia, Gibson

Looks weak to me and without spark and God how I hate it when we have one striker only on the bench even though Owen is hardly even that these days.
League race blown wide open after tonight and tomorrow.

Every so often you come on here sprouting negativity, we’ve realised you’re not a United fan so please leave off. Thanks

I am a massive fan who went to OT in 1983 for the first time. Despite that I do view things with an open mind and not with United specs on. I was right tonight that we were not going to win and 0-0 was in the end a good result in a game that had defeat written all over it.

There are incredibly a great deal of details like this to take into consideration. Which is a great point to raise up. I offer thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly you are able to uncover questions such as 1 you start up the spot that the most crucial thing is going to be finding work done in honest very excellent faith. I don?t determine if guidelines have emerged about stuff like that, but I’m certain that the job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls have the impact of only a moment’s pleasure, through-out their lives.
