Following on from the success of the two large 2 stick flags which Stretford End Flags (SEF) produced for the European Cup game against Chelsea, SEF are looking to produce more flags for the upcoming Schalke home game.

The Sir Alex and Sir Matt flags used for the Chelsea game measure 3 meters in height by 1.7 meters wide (A pic of the Sir Matt Flag can be seen on the SEF website ). SEF now plan to make these new flags even bigger.

Currently we are collecting donations towards having this design made as a 5m x 3m banner. This size would cost £475 to produce, plus £25 for the flag poles.

All flags and Stretford End banners are funded by YOU, the supporters. The more donations we receive, the more we can have made.

The recent Ryan Giggs Stretford End banner cost £430 and to date over £370 has been donated towards this.

Donations to Stretford End Flags can be made via paypal to stretfordendflags@hotmail.com or info on how to send a cheque can be found on the website at www.stretfordendflags.com

SEF will continue to promote the European home games as “Show Your Colours” nights, as we encourage all supporters to bring along their own flags.

We are also seeking volunteers to wave the large TIFO flags on the pitch for the Schalke home game, info on our website forum.
