TEAM ANNOUNCED: Hernandez partners Rooney, Park starts ahead of Nani

Given  his record against German opposition in the knockout stages of European competition, tonight’s game against Schalke will bear heavily on the mind of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The decision whether he will go with 5 in the middle of the park or 2 up top has been one that he will hav thought about at length and it appears that Sir Alex will be going for it as Hernandez does indeed partner Rooney.

Sir Alex will look to utilise Park’s industry as he is drafted in on the left and Giggs partners Carrick in the middle of the park whilst Vidic returns to the starting line up as does Evra whilst Fabio steps in at right back.
