So the stage has been set for what will be this season’s biggest game.
With Barcelona overcoming rivals Real Madrid on Tuesday and our 4-1 trouncing of Schalke last night we will again go head to head with Pep Guardiola’s team to contest the final of the Champions League.
Last time around United were handily beaten but with Sir Alex insisting he knows where he went wrong and keen to prove this, the tie should be different this time around.
Barcelona are a brilliant team and United will be unfamiliar with their heavy underdog status but this will have no bearing on the on-field performance of the team on Saturday 28th May as Roberto Mancini told FIFA.Com:
“I say congratulations to Manchester United. It is a final and it is impossible to know what the result will be.
“Barcelona have probably played the best football in the world for many years. But Manchester United are a very strong team, probably one of the best three or four in Europe along with Real Madrid and Chelsea.”

If we get a fair, unbiased ref, and Barca control their cheating diving players, it should be a good close match.
Hope Scholesy manages 90 minutes ;o)
Yeah, it will be tragic if Barca continues to dive. We all know United players dont take kindly to that. Esp Wazza he gets riled, and we dont need that. I hope Barca just comes out and plays football.
This match should be very fun.
Fantastic messi
Amazing team… barcelona is too strong
