This Sunday’s Community Shield has thrown up a rarity as we see United and City go head to head.

The first derby of the season, it gives the winners the chance for some early bragging rights in the city of Manchester and these two will be ready to take advantage if their team wins.

British lightweight champion Anthony Crolla and former British and European lightweight champion John Murray are two of Manchester’s biggest boxing prospects.

With both coming from the Gallagher stable, previously based in Denton but now fighting out of Amir Khan’s gym in Bolton, there will be a little bit of friendly banter between the two lightweights when Crolla’s United take on Murray’s City on Sunday.
