The season has jus begun and United appear to have got into the swing of things straight away.

A win over Man City in the Community Shield as well as two wins from two is the start Sir Alex will have wanted and with the players performing well too he will be a happy man.

On that Sunday afternoon when we handed Man City a lesson in football, although it was Tom Cleverley that was heralded for the impact he made with his cameo, it was Nani that grabbed a brace to secure the win.

Last season Nani was an integral part of the success we enjoyed and the Portuguese winger is determined to carry on in this same vein this season as he aims to strike fear into those he comes up against.

Speaking to the club’s official website Nani explained,

“In my first season, maybe two or three players didn’t know me.

“Then they see me play and see skills and goals, and then in the next seasons they started to be more careful with me because they know what I can do.

“Now it’s always the same. As soon as I get the ball, two players are on me *slaps hands* and then I have to be clever and run away from them! I like it.

“I like to be a player who makes others scared. When I have the ball I like to feel the confidence to go and do my skills and dribble at defenders.”

Although he looks arrogant, he comes comes across as refreshingly hinest in his interviews. He’s not a twat people make him out to be. Plus I havent seen him play acting in a long time. he has definitely matured.

He is a more mature player now and when he is in form it is not easy to stop him. He can still discover more of what he can do if he plays 90 minutes every week.
