The reserves put on a performance tonight against Swansea hitting 6 past their Welsh opponents.

United took on the new boys at Moss Lane and gave them a more than warm welcome to the reserve league as Macheda opened the scoring in under 5 minutes and the tone was set from there.

Pogba grabbed United’s second and Diouf rounded the keeper on the stroke of half time to make it 3.

Diouf got his second and United’s fourth  before Jesse Lingard made it 5 with a nice finish before Will Keane ended the scoring with United’s 6th.

Darren Fletcher continued his return from illness with another 90 to add to the 90 he completed against Arsenal last week. Hopefully with a few more games under his belt he can start being considered for first team selection.

Videos as usual were provided by Roy Keane’s Gum who also has post game interviews up on her site here

Just to think the swansea keeper use to be number.2 at benfica, no wonder he never got the chance to be first choice, would of been mid-table with him in goal……
A wonderful display from the kids, easy from start to finish…..
Can’t wait to see pogba debut this season for fergie’s men, brilliant lil lad will achieve big things at utd.

Most Swansea City fans who were watching the match seemed to think that Moreira had a great game and kept the score down. Why do you suggest that he was poor?

I’m actually looking forward to seeing what Carling cup squad fergie plays this year. So much coming through at the min, hope they get a good run at least if not win it. Would be great to give Pogba, Morrison, Petruci et al, games against some stronger opposition.

that 5th goal rocks..young keano shows some top control and lingard finishes with a fine volley..

It can’t be too long before Pogba’s sat on the bench for the first team. An excellent performance by all, but he definitely stood out for me as did Mame Diouf, whose finishing was top drawer.

Naah, unless iam mistaken diouf missed a couple of sitters..pogba provided him with some top opportunities which he missed…just read it somewhere though, not firsthand experience..

  5. This song has a nice club beat, but quite frankly this a huge dissappointment for Enrique Inglesias to come out with some ghetto nonsense song like this. I guess enrique needed a quick buck. I realize it’s just a song and there are other dumb songs out there, but there is far too many of these songs running around. I mean, really, is this the kind of music that will go down as a classic like other classic songs that still play to this day? I don’t think so, but hey what the hell, as long as these stupid songs masquerade behinds catchy beats, anything goes. Julio Iglesias should slap him for this shit!
