Sensing weakness in the Arsenal camp, Manchester United ruthlessly went about exposing this and the end result was a resounding 8-2 victory over the north London outfit.
A hat trick from Rooney, a brace from Young and goals from Welbeck, Nani and Park secured this momentous win whilst it was left to Walcott and van Persie to spare Wenger’s men further blushes.
David De Gea will take heart from the number of good saves he made in the game as well as the penalty save from van Persie and again hopefully he can keep building from his performances.
The only blemish on today’s result was the loss of Danny Welbeck to injury. Having opened the scoring he has shown that give him a chance and he will score but injury means he is likely to lose his place in the team despite doing so well. We just hope he is back soon and at 100%.
