Javier Hernandez is set to step back into the first team fold this weekend against Bolton and Wayne Rooney couldn’t be happier to see his partner in crime return.

Chicharito has been used sparingly having recovered from the concussion that kept him out for the start of the season but Wayne Rooney thinks that the striker, who scored for Mexico against Poland last week, will pick up exactly where he left off last  season.

Speaking to MUTV, Rooney spoke up his partner and also claimed that knowing about him is one thing but stopping him is another in the face of claims that he has lost his element of surprise after a successful first season,

“I’m looking forward to him doing the same, if not scoring more goals for us, this season.

“Of course people know about him now but, if you look at all the top players around the world, people know how they play and it’s still difficult to stop them.

“His movement is so good it’s difficult to defend against. It won’t be easy for players to defend against him whether they know about him or not.

“It’s great to have a lad who has just come into the team, who speaks good English and is always smiling.”

well said! i am looking forward to Diouf’s involvement in the team to be honest. He’s shown glimpse that he can be a top football player. Macheda…hm…to be honest, i’m not sure..he can score really nice goals..but nto really a threat to the defense when dribbling. I don’t know. i might be wrong..but what do you guys think?
