Renowned for his vision and passing ability, Paul Scholes has always been able to see things us mere mortals can’t.

At the end of the last season the midfielder decided to call it a day on an illustrious 20 year career at Old Trafford and has now joined the management, helping Warren Joyce with the reserves but his vision isn’t going to waste.

It’s exciting times at Old Trafford with a young crop of players in the first team and a bunch just beneath waiting to be called upon at any time and Scholes can forsee a bright future for United because of all the talent at our disposal.

Speaking exclusively to the M.E.N, Scholes remarked,

“But I’ve been really impressed with Tom Cleverley and the other young players like Phil Jones and Danny Welbeck. They’ve been brilliant and I’m sure they will go on to be great players for United.”

When he decided to hang up his boots there were calls for a replacement but how do you replace a player like Scholes? The best you can do is try to adapt and United have done just that, injecting the youthful vibrance of Tom Cleverley into the center of midfield and he is a player that has impressed Scholes,

“It’s just a shame Tom got his injury when he did. He was in fantastic form from the moment he came on in the second half of the Community Shield.”
