Having handled the testimonials of Gary Neville and Paul Scholes as well as decking out Wembley for the Champions League final, Stretford End Flag are set to pay homage to Sir Alex Ferguson to mark 25 years since he became United manager.

They accepted various banner ideas in an attempt to honour the great man and finally settled one saluting ‘Fergie’s Impossible Dream’.

The banner, one of the biggest SEF have ever made, will go on display on Saturday November 5th for the home game against Sunderland, a day before the anniversary of SAF’s appointment.

With the intention of having it cover the entire length of the Stretford End, SEF will need to raise £3,800 to make the design a reality so feel free to donate via paypal ( stretfordendflags@hotmail.com) or visit  http://www.stretfordendflags.com for more info.
