The Manchester derby has become the Premier League’s stand out event with both Manchester sides sat atop of English football.

Fans of both teams as well as neutrals are looking forward to the game as the top 2 go head to head and the players too realise just how big the game has become.

Last season Chris Smalling shone in the Manchester derby hardly putting a foot wrong, The performance opened many people’s eyes to his talent and he is looking forward to facing City again this Sundayas he told the M.E.N,

“It is one game I want to win more than any other.

“I think this is the biggest game and biggest derby we face now.

“City have been investing and growing steadily and have hit some great form this season.

“Straightaway when you come here to the city the Manchester derby is something everybody talks about.

“Yes I was an Arsenal fan and loved the derbies I went to see against Spurs. I loved the passion of the occasion. But I am very much United now and this derby has overtaken the north London one in my mind.”

Last season you were facing a much weaker Manchester City than you are facing now and back then we still knocked you out of the most prestigeous cup in World Football ala the FA Cup.

Now we have Clichy, Nasri, Aguero and Dzeko, a fit Dejong who we also had out injured back then.

You’re in for a mauling and you know it, no Ryan Giggs either not that he would make any difference.

See you all on Derby day!

If you know Clichy and Nasri you’ll know they are big time chokers. As for the FA cup, berba missed 3 sitters before City even got into United’s half of the field, remember?? Oh yea and united were missing a certain Wayne Rooney in that match, I’m sure you haven’t forgotten his winner against City in the league….
Just can’t wait for the game to start.
Is lescott still starting for City??? shocking…
