Cantona, Hughes, Keane, Giggs, Scholes, Owen, Rooney have all illuminated the game that has now become English football’s premier derby but what has been your favourite moment?
This video swings through some of the more United friendly encounters but which is your favourite?
I didn’t think anything would top Owen’s late winner but I think I enjoyed Rooney’s late goal in the Carling Cup that bit more as it meant they would have to wait that bit longer for silverware.
Was a close two legs and after Tevez did his best ‘I’m a real City player’ impression, Rooney’s goal was the perfect put down.
This will probably change next time I consider it but at this present time thank you Mr. Rooney for that goal!
