The game is finally upon us, and with City finally pulling up their socks the Machester derby these day’s have extra meaning.

Like Darren Fletcher said in The Mirror, unlike in 2008 when City did the double over us but it was insignificant as we still went on to win the title, a similar event this season would be a catastrophe as City are finally title contenders.

Unlike last week against Liverpool, Sir Alex is taking no prisoners with his team selection with Anderson, Nani and Rooney all restored.
No Vidic at all and Jones on the bench comes as a surprise but a back line of Ferdinand, Evans, Smalling and Evra seems strong enough.
There is a start for local boy Danny Welbeck meaning Hernandez, despite his goal against Liverpool, can only find a place on the bench.

Starting XI:De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Smalling, Fletcher, Anderson, Nani, Young, Rooney, Welbeck

Subs:Lindegaard, Hernandez, Berbatov, Jones, Park, Fabio, Valencia
