United’s golden boy nominated for award

After the nomination of Rafael, Bebe and Federico Macheda last year, Phil Jones has been nominated for this year’s Tutto Sport Golden Boy award.

The 19 year old has become the talk of the town with his displays for United, adept both in midfield as well as defence and has been rewarded by Fabio Capello with a call up to the England squad.

Previously our own Wayne Rooney as well as Anderson have won the award as well as the likes of Messi, Aguerro and Fabregas so this year’s winner will be in good company.
