Dimitar Berbatov’s agentĀ Emil Danchev has claimed that his client would consider a move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

Berbatov has often said he is willing to fight for his place in the side but his agent has cast doubt on the striker’s happiness at with Berbatov making just 10 appearances this season.

Anzhi have shown they are willing to spend big to secure marquee names having snapped up Samuel Eto’o as well as and Danchev believes Berbatov would be open to a move to Russia as he stated in The Mirror,

“We would be interested when Anzhi make a concrete offer.

“We will sit down with Dimitar and ponder this.

“I don’t know if Dimitar is happy in Manchester. He plays, then he just sits on the bench.”
