Dimitar Berbatov’s agentĀ Emil Danchev has claimed that his client would consider a move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

Berbatov has often said he is willing to fight for his place in the side but his agent has cast doubt on the striker’s happiness at Old Trafford with Berbatov making just 10 appearances this season.

Anzhi have shown they are willing to spend big to secure marquee names having snapped up Samuel Eto’o as well as Roberto Carlos and Danchev believes Berbatov would be open to a move to Russia as he stated in The Mirror,

“We would be interested when Anzhi make a concrete offer.

“We will sit down with Dimitar and ponder this.

“I don’t know if Dimitar is happy in Manchester. He plays, then he just sits on the bench.”

Wasting his talent if you ask me, we need to figure out a way to work in rooney, chica and berbatov into the team at once, then we could always sub berb or chica, move rooney up front if need be

He is a talent but we have 3 strikers to build our future around with Welbeck, Chicharito, and Rooney and there just wouldn’t be much room for berbatov and it might be best if we cash in on him if he wants to leave but if not let’s keep him for the rest of the season because you never know what could happen.

He should leave for his own sake. Fergie seems to have decided about him. Wasted on the bench.
