“It is good that my name was linked to Manchester United”
The striker has been touted as a United and Chelsea target and after scoring 23 goals last season for Utrect signed for Sporting Lisbon during the summer.
This term he already has 11 goals to his name further fuelling interest in him but despite being flattered with the link, the Sporting Lisbon player has stated that he is happy at the Portuguese club as he told Dutch radio station NOS,
“It is good that my name was linked to big clubs such as Manchester United and others in England, but I am really content and happy at Sporting.
“Things are excellent in every sense. I play for a good club and I am scoring goals because I am taking this satisfaction on to the pitch.”
