Sir Alex said he would make changes to the team that faced Newcastle and he has.

The Carling Cup against Crystal Palace has allowed Sir Alex the chance to bring in those in need of game time as well as giving him the chance to cast an eye over some of the potential stars of the future and tonight’s game against Crystal Palace is no different.

Jonny Evans captains United tonight whilst the bench is made up entirely of youth players bar goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.

Should be exciting!

Staring XI: Amos, Rafael, Smalling, Evans, Fabio, Valencia, Gibson, Park, Diouf, Berbatov, Macheda

Subs: Lindegaard, Morrison, Pogba, Cole, Fryers, M.Keane, Lingard

Tgan you are absolutely right. I’m sick of the brainwashed lemmings on a certain other blog who accept any old crap served up to them. I’m sure RedScot knows EXACTLY which blog I’m talking about!
