Injury may have derailed Ashley Young’s season but he is certain he will be back firing soon.

Young was easily one of the best players in the country early in the season but a toe injury curtailed his impressive start.

Back in action now, Young is looking to get back to the impressive form that saw United snap him up in the summer,

“They don’t come much bigger than Manchester United.

“I have always had confidence in my own ability and the club had enough confidence to sign me.

“I know quite a few players through England, so I settled in straight away.”

Hopefully this begins tomorrow night in Switzerland where a point will see United through but according to Young, United will be going for much more:

“It would be dangerous to think we only need a draw.

“No one at this club has that mentality.

“We still have it in our hands to go there and qualify, which was the main target and we will be trying to win.”
