United kept up their relentless pursuit of the Premier League title, by hammering Wolves at the Molineaux this afternoon.

Following the poor showing in Bilbao on Thursday, United made no mistake in the league opening a 4 point gap between themselves and Man City.

A tie we lost at the start of February last season, the game today was a much easier affair as Jonny Evans opened the scoring  before Valencia and Danny Welbeck made it 3-0 before half time.

Javier Hernandez found his scoring touch again and grabbed a brace to make it 5-0 rounding off the win.

A good win and we did our goal difference a favour as well. To be fair we could have scored more, but we didn’t play fantastic like the scoreline suggests. I think at full throttle we might have won 7-0 or 8-0. It was a good result though for an away match and we are now 4 points clear. Man City have the game in hand against Chelsea, which could be tough for them.

Valencia was fantastic and showed what a big player he is for the team. He is the number one winger at the club now. I really hope Valencia and Young stay fit and on form. They can be the difference in helping us win the title. I would imagine they will both play the reaming games if fit.

Welbeck played well today and I’m delighted he scored. Hopefully he will get into double figures for goals in the league before the end if the season. Hernandez did what he does best and that was scoring goals. Rooney was terrific and didn’t even score which is a good sign.
