The storm over Patrick Vieira’s comments continues to rage, with Manchester United legend Bryan Robson stepping in.

Vieira claimed that Manchester United bringing Paul Scholes back appeared ‘desperate’, but days later Sir Alex Ferguson fired back stating that despite insisting Carlos Tevez would never play for them again, Roberto Mancini’s decision to bring the Argentine striker back was just as desperate.

Bryan Robson, speaking at Old Trafford, backed his former manager and hit out at Vieira for his ‘out of order’ comments:

“City were trying to have a go at Scholes coming back.

“I think Vieira is totally out of order in what he said.

“The boss came back straight away and he was dead right in what he said [about Tevez].

“If Tevez had been playing for us, there’s no way the gaffer would have given him a game this season.

“It doesn’t matter how good you are. How can you go off for three months like that?”

The situation would never of happened at United ,its a matter of fact that SAF knew Te£e$ was a car crash waiting to happen .We off loaded the merc to the delirious Berties .
I can though understand mcfc s Owner wanting some money back because it is his money ! not citehs .From that point of view they can say it has nothing to do with them or their manager .Typical wastelands PR stunt trying to re-write history .
