Eden Hazard has yet to make up his mind in regards to who he will sign for this summer, but Patrice Evra is doing his best to ensure the starlet chooses Manchester United.

Hazard has stated that he will be coming to England this summer and has the pick of England’s top clubs.

With Chelsea winning the Champions League last weekend and Man City’s oil money, the Belgian starlet has been stalling on a decision.

There are rumours that Hazard has his heart set on United but deputy captain Patrice Evra is taking no chances and has made assurances to ensure that Hazard comes to Old Trafford:

“I’m not his father but, if he comes to Manchester, I assure him that he will win titles.

“That’s if he joins my Manchester, not the Blue side.”

The French press are mainly reporting that Hazard favours Manchester United, but we’ve been burnt before. I’m remembering Ronaldinho all over again and how he ended up at Barcelona, even when everyone said he would sign for Man Utd. To be fair David Gill is not an idiot like Peter Kenyon, who messed up that deal. I hope Hazard does choose Manchester United though.

It would be great if next week we could sign Eden Hazard, Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell. It will probably cost over £45 million for the three but they would increase our attacking options greatly.

Powell is considered the best youth product to come out of Crewe under Dario Gradi. People might dismiss that as nothing, but Crewe and Gradi have produced some top players over the years. Powell is a big lad and has only just turned 18. I don’t see him going out on loan. If your good enough then your old enough, and Rooney and Ronaldo were good enough at 18. Powell has the perfect stage to showcase this point tomorrow at Wembley.

Hazard and Kagawa are clearly the more immediate priority. They are both small, technical and quick footballers. Kagawa is a very intelligent player as well. They are both the kind of talents we need, and it could mean a change of formation, but in Europe it will be a benefit. It will hopefully mean more goalscoring and creative avenues in the team.

I really want Hazard and Kagawa to sign for us this summer. We haven’t really had that real buzz or excitement around transfers, not probably since Berbatov arrived nearly 4 years ago. I am happy that we secured Jones, Hernandez, De Gea, Smalling and Valencia since 2008. However, those deals did not create the same buzz or headline like when we signed Rio Ferdinand or Wayne Rooney.

I read @Andy comments above and I agree that we should try and sign Nick Powell as well. The boy is English and a real talent. The bread and butter of Man Utd is to produce world class talent, an preferably English when possible. Powell fits our system and will hopefully join as well.

We need to get another full back in the squad, but I would be happy if Hazard, Kagawa and Powell all arrived this summer. We are going to lose Berbatov and I think Park as well. He’s been linked to clubs in Turkey and I can see him leaving this summer. I would expect Anderson to be sold as well this summer.

Did anyone see Nick Powell’s goal at Wembley? Absolute quality and showcased why we need to sign him this summer.
