Oliver Norwood has confirmed that he plans to leave Manchester United this summer.

The Northern Ireland international has been on loan at 3 different clubs but is still yet to make an appearance for Manchester United, so at 21 Norwood has decided to move on in search of first team football.

Norwood went on loan to Coventry at the end of January, making 18 appearances for the Sky Blues, and whilst he was unable to keep the side in the Championship he more than proved he could hold his own in the Championship.

With this experience under his belt, Norwood has decided to turn down a new offer from Unioted and look for first team football away from Old Trafford as he told Sky Sports:

“I have decided to leave Manchester United as I feel the time is right for a new challenge.

“I have loved my time at United, I got the taste for first-team football out on loan and I want to be playing first-team football on a regular basis.

“I will now wait and see what offers come my way before making a decision on my future.”

No disrespect to Norwood but he was never going to be a first team player for Utd. Good luck to him for the future.
