United kick off the second leg of our preseason tour with a trip to Norway to face Tippeligaen side Valerenga.

With alumni such as Henning Berg and Ronny Johnsen, United have a connection with Norwegian side.

With the open of business a fortnight away, Sir Alex has picked a 21 man travelling party with a much more senior feel to it compared to the youth infused squad that travelled to South Africa and China.

The return of Nemanja Vidic is probably the highlight of these spell of games as he reforms his central defensive partnership with Rio Ferdinand.

Starting XI:  Lindegaard; Valencia, Ferdinand, Vidic, Keane; Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Young, Welbeck, Rooney.

Subs: De Gea, Anderson, Berbatov, Hernandez, Powell, Kagawa, Macheda, Lingard.

Just watched the match. There was some good football but we look weak attacking wise. Welbeck needs to watch that performance before asking for £60k a week. If I was him I would ask to sign my new contract tonight. He is a good player but showed today he isn’t a natural in front of goal.

It was great to see Vidic back though. Keane faired well as well and Valencia put a good shift in at right back. Young and Nani need to do better.
