Whilst the Premier League kicked off on Saturday, today the real business picks up as Manchester United play their first game of the season.

Last term the game against Everton was seen as the point the title race swung back in City’s favour, as United allowed Everton back into a game they were winning comfortably and drew 4-4.

United will be looking for revenge in a sense against Moyes’ men and there couldn’t be a better time to play them, as Everton are traditionally slow starters. United having undergone some what of a facelift with the additions of Powell, Kagawa and Van Persie to the team.

Hopefully the return of captain Nemanja Vidic should shore United up at the opposite end of the pitch, preventing the likes of Everton from getting back into games United should comfortably have closed out.

Starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Vidic, Carrick, Evra; Cleverley, Kagawa, Scholes; Nani, Welbeck, Rooney

Subs:  Lindegaard, Rafael, Anderson, Berbatov, Young, van Persie, Wootton.
