Joshua King has claimed that he isn’t interested in another loan to the Championship, and that he may have to leave Manchester United to further his career.

King turned out for Manchester United’s u21 side in last night’s 2-1 win over Tottenham and has been a fixture in the side for some time now, but with United’s attacking options extremely healthy his first team prospects aren’t brilliant.

King had a loan spell at Hull last season where he impressed but echoing the words of his national team manager, he isn’t ready to step back down to the Championship and is setting himself a deadline to make it into the United first team before he starts considering moving on.

Speaking last night King said:

“I’ve been out on loan to both Hull and Preston but I’m gonna stay at United until the right offer comes along.

“If I’m not close, or atleast closer to the first team then I am now, then I can tell myself that I gave it all and it might be time for a new adventure.”

King is determined to succeed at United but is keeping his options open:

“I am not a quitter, but obviously, if something great comes up then I have to make a decision. Never say never.”
