It wasn’t the best performance, but United sealed another win in the Champions League after coming from behind to beat FC Cluj.

Despite questions about whether they can work together, it was the Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie connection that gave United the win as a Rooney freekick was knocked in by the Dutch striker off his shoulder on 30 minutes.

Van Persie then gave United the lead when he deftly volleyed in a superb Rooney pass just after the break.

Sir Alex emphasised the need for a good start prior to the game but will be disappointed that United went behind in the 14th minut against the run of play. Patrice Evra was caught out be raking pass to Sougou who beat his man and crossed for Kapetanos who finished past a sprawling De Gea.

The victory makes it 2 in 2 for United in the Champions League but Sir Alex will still be worried that United still don’t seem to be clicking following what was another blasé performance.
