Another game, another goal.

Javier Hernandez kept up his impressive goal scoring record for Mexico earlier this morning, scoring his side’s second in a 2-0 win over El Salvador.

Subbed on in the 60th minute after the fans continually called for his introduction, the striker found the net with 5 minutes to go. A low centered pass from Elias Hernandez was swept in first time by Chicharito to give Mexico a 2-0 win.

Mexico advance from the group stage of World Cup qualifying with a perfect record of 18 points from 6 games, scoring 15 and conceding just 2 whilst the goal sees Javier Hernandez move to 28 international goals, with Jared Borgetti’s record of 46 firmly in sight for the 24 year old.
