Having sealed a loan move to London Road, Davide Petrucci is relishing playing first team football for Peterborough.
Having agreed a 1 month loan, the 21 year old may stay with Darren Ferguson’s side until the end of the season if things go well and the Italian is hoping that he can make an impact for the Championship side.
Having trained with his new team mates, Petrucci is in line to make his debut against Nottingham Forest on Saturday:
“It was actually quite a while ago that I first heard of the interest from Peterborough.
“I have obviously been playing for the reserves recently, and I wanted and knew that the next step forward was to come out on-loan. I thought it was a great opportunity to come and I am happy to be here.
“I have met the rest of the lads and hopefully I can learn from the more experienced boys and improve during my time here.
“I am here just to help the team, and hopefully they can help me as well and we can achieve something important.”
