After beating Fulham at Old Trafford yesterday, Manchester United were handed a home tie against Reading in the FA Cup.

Reading overcame Sheffield United 4-0 to advance to the 5th round but a trip to Old Trafford await Brian McDermott’s side.

The Royals gave United a scare at the Madjeski stadium at the start of December but United will be confident of passing the relegation threatened side as things start to click for United in the second half of the season.

United have faced Reading in the FA Cup 12 times, losing just once. The most recent meeting in the competition came back in 2007, again in the 5th round, where goals from Heinze, Saha and Solskjaer helped United to a 3-2 replay win.

Hope for a better performance to beat the royals and advance to the next round of the competition, as our dominance against fulham shows that we begins to click into gear. Go United Go. GGMU.
