Looks Like Bebe Has Talked His Way Out Of Old Trafford…

Manchester United forward Bebe has given a revealing interview to Maisfutebol in Portugal about his time at Old Trafford and working under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Bebe is currently on loan at Rio Ave, where he is making waves at the club with a number of impressive performances. His future at Old Trafford is unclear, but judging from his comments in the interview he has enough experiences already to last him a life time!

The forward has allegedly said he never took his time at Old Trafford seriously, Sir Alex is harsh on Nani and that the manager encouraged (forced) him to cut his hair when he arrived at the club.

Asked about Sir Alex being intimidating Bebe replied:

“No, nothing. Maybe sometimes when he feels that this player can give more.

“For example, with Nani this happened often. Sir Alex Ferguson always found a fault in everything that Nani did. Probably because he thought he could reach the level of Cristiano Ronaldo.”

“I never took Manchester United seriously and never understood a word about what Alex Ferguson was saying.”

“One day I passed the ball through Ryan Giggs’ legs. And he [Sir Alex Ferguson] told me: ‘Go on, go tell your mother you did this to Ryan Giggs’.”

Bebe went on to talk about his arrival at the club and an exchange with the manager that left him shorn of his hair:

“He advised me that, yes. I went into his room and saw that he was concentrating and looking at me,  Hmmm, that hair.

Of course that was cut on the same day. In the next workout he did not recognize me (laughs). I passed him several times and did not realize who I was.”
