Having wrapped up the title on Monday night, are Manchester United about to hand a first team debut to Belgian starlet Adnan Januzaj?
Januzaj has been the standout player for United’s reserves this season and was part of the title celebrations on Monday as seen in picture above.
With the title in the bag, Sir Alex can now afford to rotate the team more than he has and speaking on MUTV, Sir Alex spoke of introducing some of the younger players into the first team fold and mixing things up:
“A lot of younger players, the ones who have been on the fringes for the last weeks, I desperately want them to feel their contribution has been big.
“Chicharito, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Nani – I think it is important to get them involved in the last few weeks.”
Although Sir Alex did not mention Januzaj by name it is widely believed that the 18 year old is about to make his first team debut and this morning Steve Bartram tweeted:
#MUFC have registered Adnan Januzaj with squad number 44.
