The Emirates

Everyone knows I love Arsenal, they sold us their best player last summer, but for some reason the feeling isn’t mutual.

This Sunday as we stroll into the Emirates as champions of England for a record 20th time, Arsene Wenger’s side will be giving us a guard of honour, a display of respect to our achievement, but it seems some of their fans are planning to spoil the celebration!

Initially Arsenal fans had planned to turn their backs on our team as they walked onto the pitch, but it has emerged that they are now planning to emulate Man City and do the Poznan.

I, like you probably are, was confused by this, are Arsenal trying to insult us or pay homage to the club that treats the Emirates like a supermarket, snapping up their talent at will every summer?

Having not won a trophy in 8 years I understand that they may be slightly bitter, or perhaps they have simply forgotten how to celebrate but this is poor form from ‘the greatest team the world has ever seen!’

For shame Arsenal, for shame!

You know what’s small time? Gloating in victory.

Its not about you. Congratulations to utd and their success. Its about RvP. Had arsenal sold him a few years ago and got a striker that played regularly we could have won the league in 08 and maybe 10 and ehi knows what other throphies we could have oicked up had we not carried him while injured for so long.

Thats the grio we have. Nothing else.

If RvP was not in the team you would get all the respect you deserve .

I will be at the match on sunday, and I won’t be turning my back on proceedings, before, during or after. To call Arsenal small time is a little bit of a knee jerk reaction.
Nobody has control over all the supporters, some may well behave in a childish way, and it’s obviously those types who have been trying to promote this unsporting idea.
Branding a club like Arsenal as small minded, perhaps says more about you than them.

I am sure that the majority of Arsenal supporters will be classy enough to clap your club. We (Arsenal) should not be mad at our rivals, but mad at Wenger and the Board for their penny pinching ways, we only have them to blame. Well played UTD, much rather you won it than these sugar daddy “buy an empty title with mercenaries” teams like chelscum and man shitty
