Ajax manager has spoken of striking up a deal with that would see the club’s young talent heading to the Dutch club.

Ajax are known for being at the forefront of player development with a number of world beaters emerging from their famed academy including former former target and football luminaries like the De Boer brothers, Denis Bergkamp, and of course Johan Cryuff .

With Van Der Sar taking a role with the Amsterdam club, the possibility of striking up a partnership has become much more feasible and last week United coach  told Dutch newspaper AD just that:

“For our younger players it would be a good idea to play at Ajax rather than in the Championship, I’ll keep Edwin informed.”

And speaking with Voetbal International, it appears Ajax manager agrees as he told the magazine:

”If a talent would prefer to gain experience with Ajax than in the Championship, then it can be a very interesting option.”

This represents an exciting opportunity for as it will allow for our young players to pick up a football education in one of the best schools available.
