Viktor Fischer will be staying in Holland for now

Reported Manchester United target Viktor Fischer has distanced himself from a move away from Ajax.

Fischer has impressed for Ajax this season scoring 10 goals as the Amsterdam side retained the Eredivisie title.

The Danish international, 18, has been linked with a move to United previously along with Bayern Munich but he is happy to continue his education under Frank De Boer at the Amsterdam Arena.

Speaking to Voetbal International Fischer, who’s contract expires in 2017, said:

“I have a lot to learn in Amsterdam. I think I’m a wise guy. Only when you’re 25 do you show how good you really are.

“I have accomplished nothing here. It would be arrogant if I thought I was done here.”
