With the game balanced at 0-0 in extra time the attacker burst into the box, drawing a foul from¬†Marco¬†Cassetti to give Palace a penalty. Kevin Philips converted the resulting penalty to give Palace the win and now the South London side will join Cardiff and Hull in English’s football’s top tier.
