Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas has dismissed rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United, claiming that his future lies at the Nou Camp.

Fabregas rejoined Barcelona in 2011 and has since tasted success, winning the La Liga title as well as the Copa Del Rey amongst other things, albeit not in his favoured midfield position.

Cesc’s lack of time playing in said role is acting as the fuel for these rumours linking him with a move back to Arsenal or to Manchester United, but the midfielder has stepped in to end any speculaton.

Speaking to Marca, Fabregas has said in no uncertain terms that his future lays at the Nou Camp, unless he is told otherwise

“I have not opened my mouth once. It has taken a lot for me to get where I am and I am not thinking about throwing it all away for nothing.

“If they (Barcelona) said that they didn’t want me that would be another thing, what I really want is to triumph at Barca. That has been dream since I was small.

“The important thing in life is to accept the good and also bad moments when they happen.

“Barcelona is my home, I have always dreamed of triumphing here.

“Up until now everything has gone well. The important thing is to work and work so that you enjoy it more than you don’t.”
