Nani has returned to training
Anzhi Makhachkala have moved quickly to distance themselves from a move for Manchester United winger Nani.

Nani has just one year left on his contract and is believed to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. A move to Galatasaray fell through when the two clubs could not come to an agreement about the fee but it is believed the winger has other options.

Anzhi were amongst a number of teams linked with the Portuguese player, including Juventus, Roma and Monaco and Izvestia in Russia had claimed talks between the club and the player’s representatives had begun, but Anzhi’s chairman was quick to deny these rumours.

The club’s chairman Konstantin Remchukov took to Twitter to deny the move, tweeting:

“The rumours about Nani are not accurate. At all.”
