Another Injury For Vidic As He Is Set To Miss The Start Of The Tour

It’s been revealed that Nemanja Vidic is suffering from sciatica, ruling him out from Manchester United’s pre season tour.

Vidic was not named in United’s 22 man squad that flew to Asia yesterday and United have moved quickly to allay any fears around the defender with a club’s spokesperson telling ManUtd.Com:

“It’s nothing serious.

“Nemanja has a touch of sciatica [pain stemming from nerves in the back] and may still join the tour at a later date.

“In the meantime, he’ll continue his pre-season preparations in Manchester at the Aon Training Complex.”

Despite suffering from sciatica, it is believed that Vidic will still play some part in this leg of United’s tour.
