Wayne Rooney took to his Facebook page to comment on the hamstring injury that has forced him to fly home from Asia before Manchester United’s pre season tour has kicked off.
This evening the club revealed that Rooney had sustained the injury in United’s first training session in Bangkok and said that he would be flying back to be assessed and Rooney confirmed that but reassured fans that it wasn’t anything to worry about:
