Fabregas

David De Gea would welcome a Manchester United move for Cesc Fabregas, as it would bolster the number of Spaniards at Old Trafford amongst other things.

United turned their attention to Fabregas having missed out on Thiago Alcantara who moved to Bayern Munich, but saw a move rebuffed by Cesc who told manager Tito Vilanova that he would prefer to stay at Barcelona.

But it has been revealed that Barcelona’s financial state could see the Catalan club sell the player according to sources in Spain and David De Gea would be happy for him to land at Barcelona.

The goalkeeper, good friends with Alcantara, remains the sole Spaniard in the side and would love for Cesc to come and keep him company:

“It would be great if Cesc came here.

“It would be great to have more Spanish players at Manchester United. He is a great player, very skilful and knows how to win things.”

Make it happen Dave, convince Cesc and all will be forgiven in regards to Thiago!
